Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for over ten years. She was part of and was captain for the US Olympic women's gymnastics team The Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). At the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze was won by the balance bar. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the highest number of medals. She won the gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics, which made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals at the all-around event as well as floor workouts. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. In addition she was part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. The gymnastics classes began at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly contributes her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. She would like to become a fashion designer and expand the line of Leotards and socks in coming years. Fierce will be out at the end of summer.
